About Karen

I love life – And just like you, life’s hardships, battles, adversities, and the subsequent overcoming of these struggles have not escaped me.  It’s our shared humanity. My recent encounter with cancer freshly altered my outlook. It has introduced a renewed focus and an authentic enthusiasm for life.  Positivity, faith, memories in the moment, a can-do attitude, and encouraging others now lead me on.

I love to inspire and be inspired – You are my inspiration. My heart beats for you and your triumph. I fully believe, you can do whatever you aspire to.  Aim high, find positive and be brave.  Make your life a message worth reading.  Be an encourager, try new things and never give up.  This is the only life we get.  Let’s make it count.  Together.

I love being healthy and well – I no longer take that for granted!  Everyday exercise, nutrition, faith, and a good laugh are an important part of what I do and ultimately who I have become.  It feels good to feel good!

I love to learn – Life schools us, doesn’t it? There is not a day gone by where a lesson or two does not beckon me. I truly believe when the student is ready the teacher appears! Along with a degree or two from the school of hard knocks, I have my Masters in Communication and Leadership from Gonzaga University – Go Zags and my Bachelor of Science in Human Development from the University of Oregon ~ Go Ducks.

I love choice – I don’t think hardships change people ~ I think choices do. I think the choices we make amidst the challenges can and will alter the outcome and ultimately who we become. Choices help us reach our potential regardless of the circumstance.

I love Sunshine – That is why my husband and I live in Southern California!  We have lived in the rain of the beautiful Pacific Northwest and in the snow of the mountains, but the Southern California is hard to beat.

Karen’s Synopsis

Karen Creasey is a seasoned fitness and business professional, a competitive athlete, a cancer survivor and a nationally renowned speaker.  Her goal is to motivate, inspire, and educate people in the work place to improve their health, wellness and overall life performance.

Karen’s personal experiences, her thirty plus years in the business and fitness fields, as well as her educational background, make her a sought-after trainer and speaker for many.

She has a degree from the University of Oregon in Human Development and Performance and a Master’s degree from Gonzaga University in Communication and Leadership.  She is a certified Personal Trainer with the American Council on Exercise and an Aquatic Training Specialist for the Aquatic Exercise Association.  As well, Karen is an adjunct professor in the Kinesiology department at California State University San Bernardino where she teaches Body Conditioning and a Foundations of Fitness lecture series.

She is most passionate about  helping people improve their overall life performance, reach their goals, and live well.

She is the fearless advocate you want supporting you through life’s tough seasons.  She knows from experience that facing life’s challenges with resilience is about choice and occasionally a perspective shift.
